	Private Driving Lessons consist of one hour of behind the wheel instruction from a certified driving instructor. During each lesson, students learn the basic rules of the road and driving techniques and are properly prepared for their road test. Each driving lesson lasts 1 hour and in many local areas we offer home pick-up. In addition to Private Driving Lessons, you may also use one of our cars for your driving test. If you would like to use a KSM car for your road test, you can contact our office and we will schedule it for you. Our Commitment to Quality. More importantly, in every course we offer there’s a specially trained instructor with years of experience to lead the way. Since teens learn differently than adults, they need encouragement, attention, motivation and enthusiasm. That’s what helps them learn and improve their skills and that’s also our mission atKSM. How many lessons will I need? This is a difficult question to answer as every pupil has different learning abilities and age can also be a factor.Some private practice between your professional lessons can help you learn the topics set out by your instructor and can bring you up to test standard quickly. My friend started her lessons the same time as me and is now ready for the practical test, why am I not ready, am I a bad learner? There is no such thing as a bad learner, everybody’s uptake is different, and your friend may be taking some private practise or might not be ready for her test. It’s a bit like the tortoise and the hare scenario, or as the saying goes don’t run before you can walk. You may pass your test before your friend! How to Keep Your Driving New Year’s Resolution Many people think that a New Year means another try at passing the Driving Test. But how do you achieve this goal? Put it all on paper. Write down your driving test goals and keep them in an accessible place as reminders - such as the refrigerator door. Mark your calendar. Set deadlines for yourself to tackle each step to reaching your goal, one at a time. Do you need to take the theory test? Does your current theory test certificate run out soon? (They only last for 2 years, so if you have not passed your test before that time, you must sit and pass the theory test again). Start your driving lessons as soon as possible.
